More details have emerged about the Temporary Protected Status designation to Syrians living in the US. We have all the information you will need.

Attention all Syrians legally or illegally in the US.

 Our office just got off the phone from a conference call with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service and the Dept. of Homeland Security. You have 180 days to apply as of today.

 Temporary Protection Status for Syria has been approved as of Today. The benefits of TPS are:

  • You are not removable from the United States
  • Can obtain an employment authorization document (EAD)
  • May be granted for travel authorization

 In order to qualify you must meet certain criteria, of them are:
  • Been in the US on March 29, 2012 of before.
  • Have had a continuous physical presence in the US, some exceptions apply.
  • Not pose a threat to the US national security (no criminal record)
